Víctor Gutierrez Santiago, waterpolista olímpico y miembro de la selección nacional, hizo pública su homosexualidad hace algo menos de un año. Víctor no tenía nada que perder, ya que era algo que conocían en su entorno, pero quería animar a otros a que hiciesen lo mismo con el objetivo de visibilizar la situación del colectivo LGTBI y seguir derribando barreras en nuestra sociedad.
What’s the real situation of LGTBI people in sports? Víctor Gutierrez Santiago is an Olympic water polo player and member of the national team who came out less than one year ago. Victor had nothing to lose, as it was known by his relatives, friends and coallegues, but he wanted to encourage others to do the same in order to make the situation of the LGTBI people more visible and to keep breaking down barriers within the society.
